British Association for Forensic Anthropology (BAFA) Announcement
02/Jan/2011
At the last BAHID Council meeting in November, it has been proposed that a new association for forensic anthropologists (BAFA - British Association for Forensic Anthropology) be set up under the BAHID umbrella to address professionalisation and accreditation and to act as a focus for the discipline. It is suggested that a preliminary meeting of interested anthropologists could take place on the day prior to the next BAHID conference. The dates for the BAFA meeting and the one-day BAHID conference will be announced on this website soon but is likely to take place in March/April in Manchester. All interested participants, students or practitioners, should contact Sue Black on s.m.black@dundee.ac.uk for BAFA enquiries.(Tags: anthropology, bahid, forensic)
