Research Fellow: Geographies of missing people
28/Apr/2010
Dr Hester Parr (Glasgow University), Professor Nick Fyfe (Dundee University) and Dr Penny Woolnough (Grampian Police) are collaborating on a new and exciting ESRC project on ‘Geographies of Missing People: processes, experiences, responses'. We are seeking an experienced researcher, capable of carrying out sensitive quantitative and qualitative research with former missing persons, the police and families of missing people. The project will focus on experiential geographies of going missing and spatial strategies of formal/informal searching. We need an excellent project manager to work effectively and with confidence in dealing with a range of different stake holders in a project that seeks to maximise its impact for academics and research users.Full details: Jobs.ac.uk
