The course is held within the Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification, University of Dundee, Scotland, UK. There is a choice of two week long residential modules:Module 1 – Cranial Juvenile Osteology (2nd-6th August)
Embryology of cranial skeletal elements
Developmental osteology and morphology of the cranial bones
Development of the dentition
Module 2 – Postcranial Juvenile Osteology (9th-13th August)
Embryology of postcranial skeletal elements
Developmental osteology and morphology of the postcranial bones
The modules will be delivered by some of the leading world experts in the field of human developmental osteology. They offer current professionals and those in training an opportunity to enhance their continuous professional development. There will be practical sessions based on the unique Scheuer Collection of Juvenile Remains.
